Amanda Holden, a judge on Britain's Got Talent, was left gobsmacked after learning about her fellow judge Bruno Tonioli's spontaneous singalong with rock icon Rod Stewart.
On a recent Heart Breakfast show, Ashley Roberts informed co-hosts Jamie Theakston and Amanda of the news that Rod Stewart is set to become a grandad for the fifth time, following his daughter's announcement that she's expecting.
Upon hearing the 80 year old rocker's happy news, Amanda shared an anecdote from BGT mate Bruno Tonioli regarding his surprise encounter: "I had a message from Bruno Tonioli this morning, he was in the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel having a sing song with Rod Stewart until the early hours."
Injecting a bit of wit into the tale, Amanda relayed Bruno's text: "He said 'I just did a turn with Rod' and I said 'I hope you mean you're dancing and it's not some sort of funny turn'. He said 'no, I was singing with him, he was on piano'."

Amanda didn't hide her envy of Bruno's impromptu duet with the legendary musician, admitting that "I wish I was there for that."
Bruno, who first gained fame as a choreographer for celebrities like Tina Turner, Elton John, the Rolling Stones, Freddie Mercury, and Boy George, is best known for his role as a judge on Strictly Come Dancing since its debut in 2004, reports Bristol Live.
After becoming an significant part of the show over the years, his stint on the BBC dancing competition came to a close three years ago when Anton Du Beke stepped into his shoes.
Recently, Bruno's activities have included serenading Rod Stewart during a holiday in the US and joining Amanda on the BGT judging panel, having made his debut on the show in 2023.
Bruno also recently shared an impromptu musical performance with Rod while vacationing in the US. It has been revealed that Rod is set to join the ranks of The 1975, Neil Young, and Olivia Rodrigo as one of the headliners at the Glastonbury festival later this year.
As the ITV show made its comeback earlier this year, Bruno returned as a judge on Britain's Got Talent, alongside fellow judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and guest judge, KSI.

Previously speaking about the impressive calibre of acts on this year's season of BGT on This Morning, Bruno reflected on the personal significance of their performances.
"The standard is incredible," he said. "It surprises me every time because, you know, I've been doing this for a very long time, so I don't make it up.
"I feel like I'm not even judging, I'm commenting from my heart because I know what they go through. I know how hard it is to perform in front of an audience, to audition. It means a lot to them. I'm crying now, and I'm actually a part of it."

Bruno continued: "And sometimes the talent blows your mind, and I find it very encouraging that there's so much talent out there. Some are absolutely bonkers, but that's what it is, you never know what is going to happen from one moment to another."
